CALVARY CONVENTION @ LEAD ME TO THE CROSS GOSPEL CHURCH

A week long annual Convention of Lead Me To The Cross Gospel Church holds between Monday October 21 and Sunday 27^th October 2024.

The convention which has A Burning Bush as its theme is slated to feature varieties of programmes and activities for the week, among which are sharing of the word, prayer and worship services in the evening from Monday to Friday, at 5.30 pm.

It will be followed by Leadership Fire Conference for Ministers of God on Thursday and Friday, while Ordination Service holds on Saturday at 10.00am. It will be rounded off with a thanksgiving and celebration Service on Sunday 27^th October, 2024.

Expected to minister to the congregation are seasoned and highly anointed men and women of God. The list include Rev. Dr. T. O. Elegbede, Rev. Dr. Daysman and Mrs. Obioma, Prophet Dr. Joseph Jegede, and Rev. Dr. B. A. Olowoyeye, and others who would be ministering along with the host Rev. Dr. Festus Odeyemi are Rev. Dr. S. M. O. Oni, Rev. Dr. S. O. Olatunji , Rev. Dr. S. O. Onaolapo, and Rev. Dr. E. B. Ajose.

The convention holds at the national headquarters, 4/6, Victor Olaiya Avenue, Rogo Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos State.

The host minister, Rev. Dr. Odeyemi, who is also the Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) in Ifako Ijaiye LCDA, in a brief chat told PTL News that the convention like others before it was meant for the anniversary of the foundation of the church as well as to reawaken the Church members and participants of the needs of this time as Christians.

“As we celebrate we want to inform our brethren of the need to be closer to God in all that we do. Our speakers are drawn experienced ministers of God across various Church denominations would be sharing with us of the encounter of Moses before God in the burning bush, at the end of which we expect us to take the celebration to another level by championing the cause of winning more souls to the kingdom of God.

“It will be used to reactivate our commission as sons and daughters as well as ministers of God. Just like God appeared to Moses, we also want to have encounter with God, build our faith, make us stronger, which we expect to move us to go to the world and overcome the wiles of the enemies.”
