On Tuesday September 9, 2025, Cherubim and Seraphim, a white garment Church founded in Nigeria celebrated its full solid 100 years tagged Centenary Thanksgiving Celebration.
It was a day which brought various events organised by the Church which has branches all over the world to a crescendo.
It was a day when the Seraphs from different groups and blocks defied the rains and came together to honour the memory of their founder, St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase.
The rain seemed to have been a special aspect of the celebration which some members noted that it was not meant to disturb them but to show that heaven was very happy with their celebration.
In reports monitored by PTL News, members and their leaders trouped out in large number to appreciate God for keeping the Church for 100 years.
Centrally, while one major group gathered at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, another converged at the Seraphland in Maba, Lagos-Ibadan Express way to celebrate their own.
While the TBS section enjoyed the presence and support of Dr. Oluwaseye-Yomi Sholoye, of the New Seraph Ministry, and the Iya Aladura General of Cherubim and Seraph, the other camp had the blessings of Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, but none of the programmes disturbed the other.
The carnival like celebrations at both ends were filled with funs, excitements, praise and worship, with specific programmes like march past, physical displays of various identities of C&S Church, and the presence of their different guests.
At TBS was the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, while the Maba end had the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria in Lagos State, Bishop Steve Adegbite.
It was very clear that participants enjoyed themselves to the fullest as free rides were made available from different parts of Lagos.
Earlier ahead of the grand finale the groups had organised themselves into different organising committees to have a befitting celebration. Among the programmes organised were meeting with the press, street walks and revival, dinners and award nights and the National parade and celebration. the celebrations rounded off with thanksgiving service on Sunday at their different Churches and Centres.
