Late Archbishop Fadeyi Goes Home, His Life & Times, How He will be remembered

The death has been announced of Archbishop Michael Awofe Fadeyi, who was until his death the President and Presiding Bishop of Christian Faith Assembly, off Airport Road, Ajao Estate, Lagos State. Archbishop Fadeyi died on Saturday 16th April, 2022.
According to family sources, burial activities hold between Monday May 9 and Saturday 16th May, 2022 at his Church, 46/48, Fatai Irawo Street, off Murtala Mohammad International Airport Road, Ajao Estate, Lagos.
Archbishop Fadeyi, while on earth could be described as a leader of leaders who was instrumental to the emergence of other leaders in the church, business and even political spheres. He was known for his life of commitment to prayers to those in authority. There is no doubt that he would be sorely missed even as Nigeria marches towards another general election.
Late Archbishop Michael Fadeyi was born on March 15, 1942 in Igbin Ojo Village in the present Ogun State. He attended African Primary School, Igbin Ojo from 1949 to 1957. He also attended African School, Atola from 1958 to 1960. He trained as Architectural draughtsman with Lawson Bros & Co and became a building contractor, under Fadeyi Furniture & Building Company .
He came to know Christ at Victory Gospel Church in August, 1960. He attended Fellowship Bible College from 1972 to 74 where he obtained Certificate and Diploma in Theology in 1974.
He became a full time pastor and was ordained in 1977 at Christian Faith Assembly Inc. till date. He went on pilgrimage to Jerusame in 1982. He received his doctorate award in 1986 in Cleveland Tennesi USA. He became a member of the United Gospel Christians Association of Nigeria (UGCAN) in 1976.
He was consecrated a bishop in 1995 in the United Gospel Association of Nigeria (UGCAN) he attended many leadership conferences in Nigeria, Africa and the United states of America. He is married and blessed with many children, physically and spiritually.
When he was alive, he was a teacher and preacher of the word of God, a prophet and spiritual consultant to many, a Church founder and a father of faith. He was a Patron and Grand Patron of many Churches in Nigeria including Christ Intercesory Ministry, Lagos Grand Patron , Christian Faith Assembly Faith Clinic, Grand patron, Emmanuel Worldwide Evangelical Ministry, World Crusader Gospel Church, Ibadan, Chairman of Millenium Ministers Association, Life Patron of Fellowship of Christian Ministers of Nigeria, Ex-President of UGCAN, President and Founder of Association of Bishops, and Church Leaders International, President of Christian Welfare Initiative and until his death the Presiding Archbishop and Founder of Christian Faith Assembly Inc.
