All is set at Gospel Pentecostal Assembly aka The Glorious Family as the Church holds the 48th annual Convention.
The convention holds from Monday the 18th through Sunday 24th August, 2025 at the Church Camp, The Arena, Pentecostal City, Km 52, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ileke Town, Ogun State.
With the theme, Joy Cometh in The Morning, the convention is expected to have Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God as a lead guest minister, teaching alongside, the General Overseer, Rev. David Adewale Owolabi, and other anointed ministers of God from within and outside the Church.
The convention, as usual will be opened first with Ministers’ Conference between Monday and Wednesday when other members will be joining them for a larger convocation.
According to information made available to PTL News, the members and ministers would be gathered both from the headquarters and branches of the Church from Nigeria and outside.
It is a period when all members look forward to, bringing them all together under an atmosphere of love, sharing, motivation and inspiration, with diverse spiritual blessings at the end of it all.
At the workers seminar, participants would be led into sessions of review of the past year, learning and training about what are required for excellence in their daily living and ministerial life, with spiritually inspiring teachings, prayers and impartation to prepare them for the coming years.
Ministers would also be led into sessions of empowerment as they would be thought how to earn wealth in order to live a successful life outside the ministry.
Apart from teachings and prayers, top of what the participants would be looking out for are special sessions like hour of revival on Friday, and Saturday which would be loaded by programmes like Convention Service.
The Convention Service will feature the ministration of the guest minister, Pastor J .T. Kalejaiye from the Redeemed Christian Church of God who would be expected to teach on the theme of the convention, Joy Cometh In The Morning.
It will be followed by a session of praise and worship later in the day with Evangelist Bukola Akinade, aka Senwele Jesu who would be joining the Glorious Mass Choir of the Church in the powerful atmosphere of Praise and Worship.
It will be rounded off on Sunday with a powerful Thanksgiving Service which will not only be a parting shot with a thanksgiving message from the General Overseer but to prepare them for the next one year.
According to the Convention Planning Committee chaired by Pastor Abiodun Abiona, all arrangements have been perfected to host a hitch free secured convention, as he appreciates members’ supports and contributions to have a highly successful convention.
He urged all members to come in their numbers from all the branches to come and receive joy in all areas of their life.
“As far as the convention is concerned we have free feeding and accommodation for all the participants. All we are requesting from them is to come with all the members of their family, young and old to come and be blessed through the ministrations of our anointed ministers of God.”
Also in the words of Rev. Owolabi, the General Overseer, participants are expected to come with great expectations, as he urged them to “Come thirsty for God, faith-filled, with a receptive heart, anticipating His move and ready to be Spirit-led. Let your worship be genuine, your prayers fervent, and your heart fully set on seeking His presence.”
