President Tinubu Celebrates Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi at 70, Commends his Leadership and Contributions to Community Development

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has joined the illustrious sons and daughters of Ijesaland to congratulate one of their own, High Chief Olayinka Fasuyi, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and Founder/President of Ibadan Business School, on the occasion of his 70th birthday which comes up on Friday, October 25, 2025.
In the message, issued by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President eulogised Asiwaju Fasuyi for his enormous contributions to the development of Ijesaland, praising the Ijesa icon’s “leadership and contributions to community development through the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) and the Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), which have redefined the socio-economic and infrastructural landscape of the entire Ijesaland.”
President Tinubu then summed up everything and declared: “This milestone is not just a celebration of years lived, but of impact made, legacies established, and a life wholly dedicated to the service of God, community, and our dear country.”

President Bola Tinubu congratulates High Chief Olayinka Fasuyi, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, President/CEO and Founder of Ibadan Business School, Ibadan, on his 70th birthday on October 25, 2025.
President Tinubu rejoices with the renowned management consultant who has served numerous multilateral and bilateral organisations, including the World Bank, African Development Bank, and other government departments.
