Seven Nights of Recovery @ Doer of the Word Evangelical Church

It’s another season of spiritual harvest as Doers of The Word Evangelical Church holds its annual Seven Nights of Recovery.
The Seven Nights of Prayer Congress holding between Sunday 31st August through Saturday 6th September, 2025 has Recovery Beyond Expectation as its theme, and it would be held inside the Church auditorium of the national headquarters, situated at 89, Kajola Road, Ndike, Obawole, of Ifako Ijaye area of Lagos State.

Hosting is the General Overseer and the Senior Minister in Charge, Rev. Dr. S. O. Olatunji with the assistance of his better half, Pastor Mrs. Olatunji with other distinguished ministers of God who would be ministering in words, prayers and music.

Among the top ministers expected at the seven-day all night prayer revival are the like likes of Apostle Tolulope Okunlola, Rev. Dr. A. F. Apollo, Prophet Kayode Jesulademi and other eminent ministers in the Church.

Ministering in music are Evang. Bunmi Akinnaanu of Omije Oju Mi fame, Minister Demilade, Oni Iyebiye, Tossy Sax, and OGB Sax.

Speaking in a chat with PTL News, Rev. Dr. Olatunji explained that the Seven Night event “is a special prayer congress held by the Church annually, and it is not limited to members of the Church alone, but congregations across church denominations and even faith, as God uses it to meet the needs of those who come and faithfully seek Him at the service.

“They are nights of divine encounter. It is not just for mere gathering. We are gathered unto the Lord, and the programme was inspired by God Himself and we have been holding it with miracles, signs, wonders and testimonies following.

“As you know the essence of any church gathering is for salvation and soul winning, and our objective would not deviate from that. But much more God will use it to meet people’s physical and emotional needs.”

The host minister also added, “At the programme, people come here, pray and worship God and come back with testimonies, and that is why many people all over Obawole here and far beyond here would not joke with it.

“Our theme for this year is very spectacular. God has promised us divine recovery beyond our expectation.

“The prayer congress is therefore a clarion call to all and sundry, members and non-members, those who are far or near to come and have an encounter with God that promises Recovery Beyond Expectation.”

On his promise to participants, the cleric said, “My message to all is that they should come with maximum expectation, knowing and believeing that nothing is difficult for God to do. Has there been any loss since the beginning of the year? God will bring replenishment, and what are our expectations for the rest of the year? God in His mercies will supply our needs according to His riches in glory,” he assured.

“The congress is loaded with full benefits. There will be message of salvation, it will give us an added opprtunity to worship God, and we will be blessed with diverse physical amd material breakthrough, there will also be healing and deliverance, at the end of which it will give us all joy without limit.”
