Shocks, Prayers and Tributes as Gospel Singer Dare Melody Suddenly Loses Wife

Popular Gospel Singer, Damilare Odunuga, also known as Dare Melody has lost his wife, Adedoyin Odunuga. Mrs. Odunuga died in the early hours of October 24, 2024.

The sad news was shared in a statement on Social Media handle of Dare Melody’s Organisation, DM Multimedia, expressing grief over the loss of his beloved wife.

Described as an amiable, friendly and cherished figure among family, friends, and colleagues, the DM Multimedia community shared the sorrowful message, noting, “You will forever be in our hearts,” as they honoured Mrs Odunuga’s memory.

The full statement from the company read, “Black Day @DM Multimedia: DM Multimedia mourns the demise of the wife of the Chairman, (Evang. Dare Melody).

“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the transition to eternal rest of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend (Mrs Adedoyin Odunuga, Nee: Odagi), who passed away early this morning, today, 24th of October 2024. RIP. You will forever be in our hearts.”

Meanwhile, condolences have been pouring in for Dare Melody and his family, from friends, colleagues and well-wishers across the world.

In a report monitored by PTL News, one of the band boys lamented, “God have mercy. She gave my band boys food last week Monday,” before the unfortunate incident on Thursday.
“Mummy Enny, why? May your soul rest in perfect peace. @officialdaremelody accept my condolence sir. The Lord is your strength.”

Esther Igbekele wrote on her Facebook: “This is a very rude shock for me. We were together 10days ago at your husband @officialdaremelody birthday thanksgiving party. I never knew that will be the last day I will see you. Wow! I’m saddened with the news of your demise. May your soul rest in peace and May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this great loss.”

Many people are saddened by the incidents of sudden death among the family of young promising Christian artistes, as they call on God to put a stop to such sad news. The public has been treated to the death of Prophet Morenikeji Egbin Orun, Aduke Gold, Dele Gold, Dorcas Awolumate and now Dare Melody’s wife, Adedoyin Odunuga.  May their souls rest in perfect peace.
