On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Rev’d Julius Bamidele Odofin would be climbing the 7th ladder to join the league of septuagenarians as he celebrates his 70th birthday.
He is a minister under the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), though retired he is still marching on with his God’s ordained assignment.
On this day he would be joined by family, friends and fellow ministers of the gospel at Laoccasionz Events Place, 57, Charity Road, New Oko Oba, Social Club Junction, Abule Egba, Lagos for the celebration.
The celebrant who has served in different capacities in the ECWA Church was also once seconded to Evangelist Dr. Ebenezer Obey’s Church to pilot Decross Gospel Mission.
A thorough bred theologian, Rev’d Odofin was educated at ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja, Kwara State where he bagged Bachelor of Arts, and Doctor of Ministry. He also obtained Master of Arts in Biblical Theology from the Theological College of Northern Nigeria, Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State of Nigeria. Rev’d J. B. Odofin is a former Mushin Lagos West DCC Chairman of ECWA Church where he retired meritoriously in 2017.
The man popularly called Agba Oye is a well respected minister of God married to Mama Christiana with wonderful biological and spiritual children.
Rev’s Odofin is a seasoned minister of God, an encourager, leader of youths, a family counsellor of great repute and a man loved by people of integrity and godly service.
The cleric is a member of the Social Movement of ECWA which recently donated a sum of N250,000 to the family of Deborah Yakubu, the slain student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto.
Rev. Odofin is also the secretary of Civil Conscience Global Initiative, a body of concerned Nigerians who have been making some intellectual contributions to see that Nigeria grows and develops in all spheres of life.
