Apostolic Round Table 2025: Apostle Bolaji Akinyemi Raises Discussion on the Unity of Nigeria

Apostle Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi, a cleric, social critic and agent of societal transformation is set again to host another in the series of his Apostolic Round Table popularly known as ART.

His focus this time around is about the unity of Nigeria as he gathers eminent Nigerians and like minds to discuss the matters with the unity of Nigeria under the auspices of Stewards of Nations.

Apostle Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi, in a statement made available to the media explained the purpose of the gathering, saying, “the key objective of the 2025 ART, one of the platforms within the Project Victory Call Initiative, (PVC-Naija) is to provide tangible answers to the pressing questions that hinder the unity of Nigeria, and to explore pathways to healing, reconciliation, and growth of the country.

“A central component of the event will be the roundtable discussion titled Nurturing the Seed of Unity in Nigeria, aimed at exploring ways to foster greater solidarity among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic, religious, and political groups,” he added.

Assembled to lead this discussion are eminent Nigerians and social critics like, Bishop (Dr.) Joe Ighalo Edoro, a distinguished leader and patron of the Indigenous Group for Restructuring (IGR), Barrister Dele Farotimi, a former presidential aspirant in the past Nigeria elections, Omoyele Sowore, and Prophet Ololade David, a Social Critic, Political and Public Affairs Analyst and Advocate for the revival of the Tradition, Language and Cultural Heritage of the Yoruba race, among others.

The programme holds on Thursday, 23rd January 2025, at Jesus Evangelical Ministry, No. 2, Adegbeyeni Street, Off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos from 9:00 am.

The Apostolic Round Table (ART) is an annual gathering and transformative initiative of The Voice of His Word Ministries, convened by Dr. Bolaji O. Akinyemi.

“This event brings together apostles, leaders, and stewards of God’s vision—individuals from various sectors including ministries, business, public service, and the marketplace—who are deeply committed to serving as catalysts for national and continental change. The ART serves as a spiritual, intellectual, and strategic forum, designed to foster unity, healing, and sustainable growth for nations, with a special focus on Nigeria and its pivotal role in the African continent,” stated the convener.

Apostle Akinyemi lending credence to the essence of the gathering, added, “Nigeria, often referred to as the soul of Africa, holds a critical position in the global discourse on political stability, economic prosperity, and social justice.

“For Africa to truly thrive, Nigeria must lead by example, offering a model for democratic governance, economic prosperity, and unity. If Nigeria continues to grapple with instability and division, it is unlikely that the continent will achieve its full potential. The global community’s concerns for Africa will remain unresolved unless Nigeria overcomes its internal challenges and rises to its full potential as a unified, prosperous nation.

“Against this backdrop, the 2025 edition of ART takes on heightened significance. The theme for the 2025 gathering is “Stewards of Nations, 2nd Edition: ONE NIGERIA!,” emphasizing the imperative of national unity and collective purpose. This year’s event is set to provide an essential platform for addressing the myriad challenges that threaten Nigeria’s cohesion, stability, and progress. Guests from across Africa will join the event, reflecting the continental importance of the discussions that will unfold.”

At the end of the discussion, it is expected that it would make a contribution national conversation on how to heal, unite, and propel Nigeria forward.

It was also gathered that Apostle Akinyemi will present some awards to some deserving Nigerians at the gathering.
