All is set by leaders and members of The New Seraph Ministry to play key roles in the Centenary celebration of the founding of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide and to hold the seventh edition of its global brand, Night of Divine Experience.
This was openly declared in a special unveiling ceremony hosted by the Founder and Leader of The New Seraph, Iya Aladura General Dr. Mrs. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye and the leaders of the mission recently in Lagos.
The Flag off Ceremony was held at Faith Mission Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Satellite Town, Lagos, with special dignitaries, and leaders drawn from far and wide as witnesses.
Speaking at the event, the Iya Aladura General extolled the virtues of the founding fathers of the Church called on all members of C&S globally to take the momentous advantage of its 100 years to celebrate together as one united family.
She said, “C&S is 100 years this year. It is worth celebrating. For a vision to survive 100 years in this Nigeria is a milestone. Today, Moses Orimolade is a Saint and we are not ashamed to call him our father. We are proud of the founding fathers of the Church and their followers.
“Our joy is to celebrate this centenary together as one in the Lord, as children of the same mother, and let us celebrate it as members of one family. Let the world see us as one, and do not give room for the world to see our differences.”
Looking into what could be seen as the achievements of the Church in the last 100 years, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye called on C&S members to correct the mistakes of the past and live a new life that glorify the name of the Lord and the dream of the founding fathers.
“Let us use this opportunity to correct ourselves and right our wrongs. You may make mistakes, once you know, correct it so that you can move forward. Let us use this time for some restitution, to correct all errors, to move forward and make more friends,” she admonished.
Also speaking on the theme of the celebration, Centenary Without Borders, the woman of God urged the members to live up to expectation, saying, “Let us act the word and not just say it,” adding “let us close the boundaries and the cracks.”
She continued, “In heaven there are no boundaries, why then are we entrenching those borders? Let us use the celebration to break all barriers. Do whatever you are asked to do. Let us take away all those dichotomy,” she appealed, as she called on all members to be part of the coming celebration.
“I am appealing to you, from now till September 9, to make sure you are a part of the celebration. As for me, I will be part of it. The C&S will move from glory to glory, our churches will move from glory to glory, the New Seraph will move from glory to glory, and the Faith Mission will move from glory to glory, and so shall it be,” she prayed.
In his special message at the occasion, His Eminence, Baba Aladura Archbishop Sunday Okeyomi, the Founder of The Holy Fountain of C&S in Ikare, all the way from Ondo State congratulated Dr. Mrs. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye for bringing together such a wonderful gathering.
The Guest Speaker, in his message went down the memory lane to tell the story of the birth and emergence of St. Moses Orimolade as a global religious icon, noted that St. Moses Orimolade was a man sent by God, and he came to deliver the message for the world to know.
He therefore called on leaders and members of C& S Worldwide not to use the white garment anyhow and not to abuse it in the way that it could bring shame to the Church of God.
“We need to understand the story of C&S in its 100 years. I want to beg you to know who you are serving. It is those that are not called but called themselves that are causing troubles for the church. Many of them are the ones killing Christianity. Honour your God and don’t go back to doing evil. God will forsake you if you are doing evil with His name,” he pleaded.
The Night of Divine Experience coded NODE 7.0, according to organisers promises to be a life-changing experience, bringing together believers from far and wide to encounter God’s glory and power. The Night of Divine Experience has become a hallmark of the church’s ministry, providing a platform for spiritual renewal, breakthroughs, and divine encounters.
This year’s Night of Divine Experience like the ones before it would provide another opportunity for worshippers to present themselves before the Lord, worship and serve Him, and to receive bountiful blessings from Him.
The flag off event which was also used to inaugurate members of the Local organizing Committee of NODE 7.0 was witnessed by members of The New Seraph across its various divisions and districts drawing participants from Lagos and other parts of Nigeria. Among the congregation were baba Aladura H.P. Phillips, baba Aladura Isaac Adegbenro, Deputy Baba Aladura Friday Ngodi, and general Evangelist Taiwo Osomo aka Baba Lesekese, Prophet Segun Arole, as well as Women leaders and traditional rulers.
In a similar development, The New Seraph was part of a World Press Conference organized by the members of the Eternal Sacred Order of The Cherubim and Seraphim, held in Ikare as part of the Centenary Celebration of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Worldwide, and The Founder promised to support members with empowerment programmes during and after the celebration.
