The death has occurred in Ilesa, Osun State of Chief Timothy Olusanya Atobatele, the founding Principal of Ikeji Ile High School, in Ikeji Ile Ijesa, Osun State.
Chief Atobatele passed on at the age of 86 years.
In a message made available by the Ikeji Ile High School Old Students Association in conjunction with the family indicates that burial of the academic and political icon begins on Wednesday 8th February, 2023 with Service of Songs at his residence, PG 25, Ojotuke Street, Ilaje, Ilesa in Osun State at 5.00pm.
The funeral service continued on Thursday, with a commendation service at his residence No 1, Atobatele Street, Off Okenisa Street, in his home town Ijebu Jesa, also in Osun State at 11.00am, and the train moves back to Ilaje Ilesa once again for the Wake keep later in the day at his Obafunke Atobatele Hall of Methodist Church, Ilaje at 5.00pm.
The final funeral service holds at Methodist Church, Ilaje, Ilesa at 10.00am which will be followed immediately with a reception at Kings Mega Events Centre, Ife/Ibadan Road, GRA, Ilesa, Osun State.
Chief Atobatele is survived by his wife, children and grand children.
