It is an annual event to bring women of God together including ordained ministers, wives of ministers of God, female Church workers as well as women members in the Church.
The programme which has Designed to Reign as the them holds inside the Church premises, situated at 6, Fasanmi Street, Aiyedere, by Ile Ile Bus Stop of Ketu area of Lagos.
The programme holds from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th July, 2025 featuring teachings, sharing of the word of God, Praise and Worship session, and moments of fervent prayers which are expected in effect to bring more souls to Christ through impactful messages, with healing, deliverance, breakthrough and manifestation of the presence of God.
Expected as Special Guest Minister is the renown female speaker, preacher, pastor’s wife and counsellor, Pastor (Mrs.) Shade Ajayi.
The convener, Pastor (Mrs.) Selina Olumolawa in a special interview with PTL News explained that the programme which has been holding since the inception of the Church was to bless participants physically and spiritually.
She explained, “Going by the theme of this year’s conference which is Designed to Reign, we want to examine the different roles of women in our society and how women have been facing various challenges of development.
“You will agree with me that women have been taking up various challenging roles in the home, in business, and even politics in the larger society. Therefore we want to use the conference to encourage our women to excel in their different positions of responsiblity.
“It has been proved that women can excel as wives, as mothers, as industrialists, and business women in corporate world. Women can excel in politics, even as Church leaders’ and Pastors’ wives. We have women who are also leading other women like in the market place.
“We want to live up to our responsiblity as women of God, to lift such women in our prayers as well as to challenge the participants on how they can lead, excel and reign wherever God has positioned them.”
The conference holds between Thursday and Friday afternoon, while the convention continues on Friday till Saturday. According to the convener all hands are on deck to have a successful outing.
“Apart from making the church premises conducive for the participants, we will make the conference interactive for all participants and there will be counselling for participants. We expect that at the end of the conference we would have learnt enough to keep and sustain us for the immediate and distant challenges ahead of us. God will help us to ignite the fire of our vision to reign.
Other features of the three-day event are ministration by Women Choir, there will be health talk, Medical personnel will be around to carry out tears and check-ups for the participants, and it will be crowned with powerful word ministration and prayers.
Our guest minister is Pastor Mrs. Shade Ajayi, and we are expecting other anointed women like Pastor (Mrs.) Olaniyi, Pastor (Mrs.) Olaleye, Pastor (Mrs.) Kehinde, and Pastor (Mrs.) Gbadamosi, and others.
“At the programme we will also focus on the family. The devil has destroyed a lot of homes, and we as wives and mothers need to resist and fight it back with the power of God. We will encourage women not to quit their homes but to go all out to use their lives to win souls for Christ. We will encourage women in all spheres of life and pray for those in authority.”
Quoting Proverbs 14, Pastor (Mrs.) Olumolawa noted that the only weapon women can use to hold their family is prayer.
She said, “Women need to pray for their husbands, and children. Many women who are keeping their husbands with the should keep them well and this can only be sustained by prayer and godliness.
“Apart from that the children need a lot of prayers and care. Seeing what the devil is doing to destroy the lives of the youth, mothers should not rest until they see their children fulfilling the purpose of God for their lives. This generation needs a lot of prayers from the way the society is badly affecting everybody.
“We thank God for the life of the first lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu. It is not easy for a woman to rise to that level, and for her supportive role for the husband. For any man to make it to the level of her husband takes the support of a virtuous man. I pray for her always, and God will continue to increase her anointing.
I want to encourage her to continue to help and support women more and more, so that everybody can appreciate her good works.
Pastor (Mrs.) Olumolawa, a widow who lost her husband in October, 2021 also reflected on how the church has been moving forward since the departure of her husband, Pastor Z.A. Olumolawa.
She said, “Baba’s departure will be four years in October this year, and we thank God for not leaving His Church empty. God has not permitted the gates of hell to overcome His Church and we are grateful to Him.
“It has not been all that easy but the Lord has not left us as father and husband. We thank God for His mercies. We strongly believe that the Lord will continue to move His Church forward for His glory.”
She continued, “So far the Church programmes have been going on as planned. We have our Bible Study on Tuesday, Solution Hour Prayer on Thursday and our National Combined Service on every first Friday of the month. Our Leadership Conference programme started by our father still continues and we host it every March since 2022 till date.
“We also have our various group conventions. The women hold their own as we are preparing now, the youth are holding theirs and they have the Flaming Fire as their theme, they will be gathering for fresh fire. The men will be having their own come September 12 to 13. Our Children’s convention also holds as scheduled.
“Prominent is our 11-11, (November 11,), commemorating the call of our father and the Founder of the Church, we round things off with our Zion Convention and that will be holding on 16th November this year.”
Speaking on her experience, the woman of God confirmed things have not been that easy, but God has been in control.
“All our programmes are in progress, the Leadership School still continues. We have held the graduation for the students of the school. It is for the purpose of growing leaders. Another session has started. It is a year programme for Advanced and Ordinary students.
The interview did not end without seeking her advice for her women’s folks. The teacher turned cleric has these words for her fellow women, especially those in the Lord’s vineyard.
“Winners never quit and quitters never win. If you want to be a winner, challenges will come in diverse ways but if we look unto Jesus we will win. God has created us to fulfill our purpose on earth. We have a destiny to fulfill, we should not allow satan and its agents to stop us. We must be committed, it is God that can lead us through. He is the one with unlimited power to make all ends meet,” she advised.
