A new gospel music sensation, Emmanuel Paul Dayo popularly known as Dayo Emmanuel, is set to present his latest work to the gospel music market. Oyo State born Dayo Emmanuel, is from Saki East Local Government, is based in Lagos.
The launching takes place on Sunday 21st August, 2022 at 3/5, Anthony Ojeikhere Street, Off Haruna Bus Stop, College Road, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos.
Expected to minister in what he tagged An Evening of Worship with Endless Worship as the theme top gospel music stars and artistes like Pastor David Adebayo, Biyi Samuel, Segun Oluwayomi George Audu, Hezekiah Oduola and Pastor Gbenga Obaleye.
Dayo Emmanuel, a graduate of Music and Rehabilitation of Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo explained the background to his latest outing said, “God instructed me to do so. He took me back to the previous ones that I have done, in 2014 and 2017 and He said I should repeat it this year. I am always following God’s instructions. God chose it for me.”
He promised his admirers, “They should be expecting many things. The album is full of inspiration, prayers, emotional and spiritual songs.
Speaking on the challenges artistes face in coming up, he said, “I think gospel artistes face a lot of challenges in terms of financial needs. Even our radio stations don’t help. How many radio stations can play gospel songs for an hour? The money they will charge you before they can play your song self..,hmmm”
He however believed that gospel music is profitable.
He promised to release the title of his album on the day of launching. “The title of album will be revealed on that day,” he assured.
