Days after his promise to help the family of Deborah Samuel, the slain student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Port Harcourt, has fulfilled the promise by putting smiles on the lips of the bereaved family.
The cleric has donated a 14-flats-mini estate to the family in Port Harcourt. He also donated a car to Garba Emmanuel, the father of slain Deborah Samuel.
The cleric, who relocated the family to Port Harcourt, also promised Deborah’s seven siblings “automatic scholarships”.
Speaking at the arrival of the family from Niger State, Apostle Chinyere affirmed that the “Omega Power Ministry relocated and donated a 14-flats-mini estate and a Corolla car, for Uber business, to her family in Port Harcourt, as the family rents out other parts of the estate to make more money for the welfare.”
Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere also had a dinner at Golden Tulip Hotels, Port Harcourt with the family of Deborah Samuel, signed the deeds of ownership of the properties. At the dinner the cleric said, “I give God all the glory because today 24 May 2022, God has used me to remove poverty from their generation forever. All glory be to God Almighty.”
Deborah was a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, who was stoned and burnt on the school campus recently for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad.
Apostle Dr Chibuzor Chinyere, popularly known as the Apostle of Welfare on 1st June 2016 on behalf of the Church also donated a twin flat of two-bedroom and a bedroom with borehole to Miss Precious Ndubuisi who emerged as the best graduating pupil from basic five of the OPM Free Nursery and Primary School Port Harcourt branch, she is a daughter of a widow (Mrs. Beauty Ndubuisi) who came from Elibrada in Emohua LGA of Rivers State. Mrs Ndubuisi lost her husband some three years ago in an accident. Some of the church members who accompanied the G.O to the site were speechless as many of them could not understand the style and the kind of mind a man like Apostle Chinyere has for humanity for graciously giving property worth millions of naira to non-related members.
There was also the story of Mr. Spellz who once upon a time broke the internet with his unique way of spelling words. According to news, he was spotted at the Abia Mall in a very sorry state, begging for alms. The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere was moved by compassion and was led in the spirit to put out word in search of the young man, that whoever had information on his whereabouts should leave a comment under this post and tell Mr. Spellz to contact him urgently.
Few days later, he was found. On the 13th May 2022, he arrived at the residence of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere. The man of God welcomed him wholeheartedly and was very hospitable towards him not minding his current state. Apostle Chibuzor took Mr Spellz out for shopping at Everyday Supermarket to get him new clothes and other items he would need for his personal upkeep.
The man of God didn’t stop there, he also took him to one of the OPM free estate well-furnished apartment with television, fridge, gas cooker, etc. Apostle Chibuzor also set Mr Spellz up financially so that he would no longer be on the streets begging for alms, the man of God got him a shop and funded it so that he can start up a business that would yield returns for Mr Spellz. In the space of few hours, this man’s life has changed for good, making begging over in his life.
OPM, according to sources has more than 20 free estates, 18 free schools, 2 free specialist hospitals and more than 2,000 students on scholarship both local and international. All these are said to be sponsored through the tithes and offerings in the Church.
It is also remarkable that some children of his church are on university scholarship in far away TURKEY. Two years ago Apostle Chibuzor OPM sent more than 60 students to Turkey to study different courses and they are in different universities in TURKEY including the famous FENERBAHÇE UNIVERSITY TURKEY. OPM pays school fees and pays for their accommodations free of charge.
The man of God in disclosing the source of his wealth never minds to attribute it to the tithes and offerings paid by the members.
The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) has always been on the news for his kindness to people in need. There are several cases of Apostle Chinyere’s social intervention in the lives of the less privileged members of the society.
Pastor Mark Miracle commenting on his social media handle ‘Why I Love Daddy OPM So Much?’, wrote “We have givers and we have GIVERS! To me, you are a REAL GIVER when you don’t only give to those who give back to you or belong to your Church! You are a true giver when you give to those who don’t even “PAY TITHE” to you or can’t even say thanks with anything in return! Some only give to those who are as rich as them, but you see my mentor? He gives to the poor and desires to see every poor person around him transformed that is what Jesus teaches! I have learnt and I will emulate these golden steps!”
