Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, the highly respected drama minister and the President of Mount Zion Movies and Drama Ministry has thrown his weight to defend and support Daddy Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God over the trending controversy and apology of the latter’s pronouncement that non payers of tithes would not make heaven.
Contrary to this, the respected Pastor Adeboye has retracted his statement trending on Social Media over his apology over the statement which has drawn criticisms from various ministers of God who are younger than the man of God in the ministry.
Pastor Adeboye had said, “I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible” Pastor Adeboye apologised for saying those who don’t pay tithe won’t make heaven.
Evang. Bamiloye went on to give a better explanation to Pastor Adeboye’s statement, claiming Daddy G. O.’s defence was meant for the children of the kingdom.
He wrote on his social media handle; “Let me refresh you! My father, Daddy E. A. Adeboye also said: “It is wrong to limit you to 10%, at a time when some of you should be at 20%, 30%, 40%. 10% should be for beginners. You want to be the one at the top? If you are the one who would control finances, you will have to go far far beyond 10%.”
He continued, “I never never ever expect the children of this world to understand the principles of the kingdom. It is beyond their Reasoning.”
Quoting 1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV), he wrote, “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
“But if you are a child of the kingdom of God, going to heaven and expecting the coming of Jesus Christ, I DO NOT expect you to have problems with those statement. But if you still do have problems with what Baba said, then your spiritual sanctification is very doubtful.”
He drew analogy from the Bible when Prophet Samuel was asked by God to go and anoint Saul’s successor.
“Prophet Samuel made mistake when he was sent to anoint a son of Jesse as king of Israel. He looked physically at the first born and wanted to anoint him: he said, “Behold, the Lord’s anointed is here.” The Lord said, “No, I have not chosen this one!” All the sons Prophet Samuel thought was the choice was each rejected by God until David came and God said “Arise, and anoint him”
“Daddy E.A. Adeboye made a statement and the Lord CORRECTED HIM before he came out in the open to correct himself at the Lord’s Instruction. You think it is easy for a man of such global status to come out in the open to apologize, if God had not corrected him in the secret?
“It is only a person who has heaven in focus and eternity in heaven in view that would count it important to do that. If you like, make jest of him, if you like drag him on the ground for doing what the Lord had instructed him to do. Baba has heaven in his focus and that is why he doesn’t care about earthly honour or human ego.
“It takes humility for a man of global status as this to come out and apologize. Only God could have spoken to such man. Because, God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6). My Father has just received more grace from God for his humility in doing this.”
The lessons.
“What is the lesson I learnt in Daddy E. A. Adeboye’s humble actions? Is there anything I have said openly that the Lord has corrected me secretly?
“I will be held accountable before God, unless I go back to make an open corrections of the statement.”
Extending his message to fellow ministers of God, Evangelist Bamiloye continued, “MEN OF GOD! Preachers and servants of the Most High! What have you said openly that the Lord has corrected you in secret? What have you done openly that the Lord has corrected you secretly? And what have you done secretly, that the Lord had instructed you to confess openly? What restitution has the Lord told you to make that your pride and ego are still depriving you from making?
“If you are serving the Lord with fear and trembling, and you are eagerly looking towards getting to Heaven peacefully, go and do what the Lord told you to do! If the Lord has told you to make open apology or confession, you better go and do it now before it is too late. Getting to heaven is more important than all your pride and ego!
My Father, My Father! You have done well. You once said, “The more one is getting to the finishing line, the more One must be very Careful” Yes, I got that!
“My Father, the funniest thing is that, among us all, we don’t even know who is getting to the finishing line first. So it behoves us all to be careful of whatever we do or say. Our finishing line may be in few minutes time when the Rapture Trumpet sounds.
“My Father, My Father! You are above 80 now, you will finish well gloriously! Thanks for teaching us all the acts of humility and meekness! The children of this world may not understand what is driving you! But genuine children of the Kingdom know! You will finish gloriously against all odds! You will end well against all noises and voices of opposing evils. And you will Reign with Christ, blasting in Glory Eternally as a result of millions of souls that have been raked into His Kingdom by your calling and ministry.
“My only point of concern is: How I will be allowed to come to your heavily magnificent mansions in heaven to shake your hand!
“Too many saints from across nations that have known the Lord through you, that would want to greet you, and how I would be able to eventually get to your presence and you will recognize and shake my hand. I want you to remember I said this, when you see me there!”
Can you make something out of this? It is believed that this would go a long way to explain to those who read and listened to the statement of apology out of context.
