Other guests and associates of the late Founder of the Church, Rev. Dr. Oludayitan, like Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ajose, Rev. Toyin Kehinde and Bishop Ademola Olurombi will be expected at the convention.
It could be noted that the New Creature Evangelical Ministry gave a befitting farewell to the founder of the Church, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Oludayitan who passed on late last year. Rev. Dr. Oludayitan passed on at 76 years.

The burial which was a carnival of a sort featured different programmes and activities within and outside the Church.
It began with a Commendation Service at the church headquarters situated at People’s Bus Stop in Olodi Area of Apapa, Lagos. The burial train later moved to Ikoga, Rev. Oludayitan’s birthplace, where his remains were laid in state for all his kinsmen and community people to pay him his last respect.
The funeral rites continued at the New Creation Camp, on Thursday where many of the deceased’s associates were around to pay glowing tributes. It was rounded off with a glorious burial service, interment and entertainment of guests on Friday with top and prominent ministers of God and traditional rulers were around to celebrate the good life and the legacies left behind by the spiritual icon.
At the Night of Tribute and Service of Songs, there were many attestations to the good works which Dr. Oludayitan did for God most especially in his prayer life and in winning souls.
Pastor Momoh Esupofo, who was formerly a chronic Muslim came out to testify to how Baba’s simple loving life and his message changed his life. “His message converted me from Islam to Christianity. He was a very loving father and I thank God for his life, said Pastor Esupofo,” while Pastor Sanmi who also got converted through Rev. Oludayitan described the late cleric as “a man carrying raw fire of God. I saw raw miracle through him. He healed my brother Jato of a very serious disease. He carried raw fire of God,” affimed Pastor Sanni.
To Pastor Tunde Bisiriyu, a brother in law who flew in from the United States of America for the burial, Rev. Oludayitan was more than an in-law but a father who brought light into their family.
“We are from a very core Muslim home. We were practicing Muslims from my grandfather. Baba brought light into our family. I regard him as a father not an in law. He was a mentor to me. I believe Baba has finished his assignment here on earth, and he has gone to rest with his creator.”
Also in his message at the Service of Songs Bishop Michael Olusola Oyeniran from Ibadan described death as a necessary end. He said, “If you don’t die how do you make heaven? Baba’s life is a blessing and a lesson to all of us.”
Also in his own message, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ajose who was a very close associate of the late cleric described his relationship with Rev. Oludayitan for 39 years as being fruitful and impactful, expressed with confidence that Rev Oludayitan started well and ended well.
He said, “Among 10 people that begins a journey, only a few finish well, and only one would take the lead. I can say with confidence that our father started well and ended well.”
Dr. Ajose who titled his message The Dead That Are Blessed, quoted several portions of the bible confirming the blessedness of the dead. He noted that “there is second death and that a person that dies inside Christ gives joy because he will not die the second death.
He continued, “Why we are rejoicing today is because Rev. Oludayitan made a great impact in the path the Lord has chosen for him. He proved himself as a responsible godly leader, a caring father and a man of God who was always sensitive to the things of God.”
He therefore urged the congregation to prepare their ways so that they would have peaceful rest after death.
“God is the giver and sustenance of life. Always prepare your journey to heaven. Do good always. Remember that death and judgment is always sure. Remember that you can now still repent. Give your life to Jesus Christ now. Sin will only slow you down,” he admonished.
There were also sessions of prayers for the family and the Church and specially for the new General Overseer, Dr. Alinyoh Peter Dotun and his family before the body was finally laid to rest at a mausoleum prepared within his residence inside the camp.
Among the eminent ministers of God that came around were Rev. Toyin Kehinde, Rev. Mrs Olumolawa, members of His Presence Ministers Group including Rev. Dr. Festus Odeyemi, Pastor Olu Aina, and a host of others.

Rev. Oludayitan was born in Ikoga, Badagry. After working for some years as a construction staff, he yielded to the call of God in 1978. He was a son of a pastor. His father was the Assistant General Overseer of Apostolic Divine Church. On 15th March 1984, he led a few members of his praying group to found the New Creature Evangelical Ministry which has grown in leaps and bounds winning souls and drawing sinners to the side of God.
He will be remembered as a loving and caring spiritual father, a committed and purposeful leader, a man that feared his God, highly prayerful with a deep understanding of the word of God.
He left behind a very strong united and loving biological and spiritual family, a thriving Church and successful ministry with over 170 branches across the world, a sprawling Church camp situated over 50 acres of land, and a legacy of successful handing over to a worthy spiritual son in person of Rev. Dr. Peter Dotun Alinyoh as a successor General Overseer, at the 40th convention of the Church last year featuring the gospel music icon, Dr. Bola Are.
At this convention many of his legacies would come to bear as the church gather to take another step in taking the church of God higher in populating the kingdom of God and depopulating the kingdom of Satan.
In the same vein, the leadership of the New Creature Evangelical Church has expressed their appreciation to all who made the burial of their late spiritual father and Church founder, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Jonah Oludayitan a huge success.
In a message of appreciation signed by the General Overseer, Rev. Dr. Alinyoh Peter Dotun, the Church expressed its appreciation to all well-wishers who rallied around them to make the burial a success.
The message read, “The Shepherd Rests: APPRECIATION. On behalf of the Church, New Creature Evangelical Ministry and the family of our father Rev. Dr E. J. Oludayitan, we express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the burial services of our beloved founder. You have been a great source of comfort and strength to us. Thank you for honoring his legacy, and celebration of his life and times. May the Lord bless you abundantly. -With appreciation, from the office of the General Overseer.”
