All is now ready at the Prayer City of the New Seraph to host the 2022 Night of Divine Experience. Night of Divine Experience popularly code named NODE is an annual retreat of the organisation which brings believers together in their thousands from different parts of the world online and physically to celebrate the goodness of God in their life.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition is coming up at Sapade, Ogun State Prayer City of the Church.
Speaking with news men ahead of the popular event, the visioner and the newly consecrated Iya Aladura General of the C&S Church, Her Eminence, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye assured participants that all things were ready to stage a God exalting and well befitting prayer and worship gathering.
According to her about 400,000 worshippers would be expected to gather at the momentous event, physically from all parts of the world, and this year’s event which is the fourth in the series would hold varieties of events like Musical and Choir Competition with befitting rewards and prizes for the participants.
“The three-day event starting from Wednesday, the 17th of August, 2022 will be kick started with Prayers, Seminars and impactful sessions from morning through afternoon till evening and all night,@ said the visioner.
“Day Two which is on Thursday, 18th August, 2022 will also be power packed as we shall be hosting our debut Musical Competition for singers, bands and choirs. As we speak, we have shortlisted the 10 finalists who shall grace The New Seraph stage for a healthy musical competition with amazing cash prizes and consolation prizes.
Dr. Mrs Yomi-Sholoye added that there would be “capable Judges who are musically inclined and will be on ground to assess the contestants using the necessary yardsticks in determining the winners.”
Also speaking on the theme THE CALL, taken from the book of Genesis 3:9
The Iya Aladura General explained that it was a wake-up call to all children of God to be closer to Him.
“Someone is wondering ‘Why THE CALL?’ God is calling on you and me to come closer to Him at this perilous period. In any way we may have gone stranded looking for what should not be our priority, it is high time we all heeded God’s call to repentance, God’s call to salvation and restitution.
“Looking at how things have turned so far, people dying all day amidst other happenings around the globe. We need more of God and this same God is calling on us all to right all our wrongs, so we do not miss the race of salvation at the end.
“You and I need God now more than ever and we can only get the best of Him when we hearken to His voice,” she emphasised.
To draw home her expressions, the team has assembled divinely inspired and motivated preachers to join the visioner to throw more light on the theme of the night. Among these are, Prophet Sam Ojo Authority, Prophet Cherub Obadare, Laolu Gbenjo, Bidemi Olaoba, Ewa Kristi and a host of other anointed Ministers of God, who are expected to variously minister in songs, prayers and prophecy to the participants.
The visioner also assured all participants that all arrangements have been made physically and spiritually to have a highly successful gathering.
“It may interest you to know that this year’s programme has been fully packaged in a way to accommodate nothing less than 400,000 at The New Seraph Prayer City – Kilometre 60, Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, By Sapade Overhead Bridge, Ode Remo, Ogun State.
“Having in mind that we are converging in such magnitude, we have put into serious consideration precautionary measures in line with the government directives for safety of all attendees,” she assured.
On transportation, the woman of God also explained that hitch free transportation arrangements have been made to convey attendees from their different places to and from the venue back to their homes free of charge.
She said, “As a way of ensuring that many people across board partake in God’s goodness through this year’s Night of Divine Experience, we have made provisions for over 200 BRT Buses across Lagos State and thousands of buses for Interstate Transit, ALL FOR FREE.
“These buses are to convey attendees to and from the Vigil Venue. Once the Bus List is published, attendees are advised to locate any nearby bus assigned to their locations.”
Provisions are also made for believers in the diaspora who may not be able to be there physically as all facilities of the social and conventional media would be used to broadcast the event live throughout the night.
“As massive as the gathering will be, let me inform you that due provision has been made for believers across the globe to also connect and stream the programme LIVE via The New Seraph Facebook page, YouTube Channel or via any of other platforms used.
The grand finale takes place on the night of Friday, the 19th of August 2022, till the following morning featuring sessions of high praise and worship, sharing of undiluted word of God which The New Seraph propagates, sessions of the miraculous of signs and wonders with healings and deliverance taking place.
Dr. Mrs. Sholoye who took the advantage to commend members of the fellowship who have been up and doing in preparation for the event said awareness had been created in all parts of the world to use the programme to bring many people to the message of salvation.
“You will recall that at The New Seraph, we have always said that our commission as a Body of Christ is to evangelize telling the world more about the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
“This is why for months now, in preparation for the Night of Divine Experience – NODE 4.0, The New Seraph Team has been going to the nooks and crannies of the nation to host pre-node revival/vigil/rally, simply to take the Good News of Salvation to the rural and urban areas pan Nigeria. In fact, this year’s PRE-NODE Rallies across the Nation were so spectacular. As I speak, Rallies are ongoing at some locations and it will go like that till even the D-DAY – Friday, 19th August, 2022.”
On the state of the nation, the NODE convener saw the gathering was another opportunity to pray for the embattled nation which is being ravaged by insecurity, kidnapping and economic challenges.
“Apart from prayer, we call on all Nigerians to join hands to get things right and get closer to God. We enjoin Nigerians to be part of the ongoing transformation, get their PVC, vote and make their votes count. They should pray and choose the best candidate. “As for prayer, we are going to pray passionately for the country Nigeria for a successful election and for God to take control of the affairs of Nigeria.
She also explained that The New Seraph apart from spiritual activities have been engaged in humanitarian and empowerment programmes, helping widows, orphans and the less privileged members of the society.
The Iya Aladura General who is a role model to many youths in the Church, at the interactive session explained why her ministry cares much for the youth. “The youths are our leaders today and tomorrow, and so we are catching them young, we want to see how we can take position now and in the future.
