Over 300,000 Worshippers expected, Over 300 Mass Transit Buses for free ride, As Iya Aladura General Charges Nigerians to do things right
For all members and non-members of The New Seraph Ministry, a group within the body of Chrerubim and Seraphim Worldwide, and all lovers of praise, prayer and the word of God, all roads shall be leading to the Prayer City of the ministry situated at Sapade, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway of Ogun State as the 7th edition of the annual Night of Divine Experience holds.
NODE 7 which will be celebrated with the Centenary of C&S Church begins on Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 and will be rounded off with a grand finale on Friday 15th August through the wee hours of Saturday, 16th August 2025.
The three-day event will feature session of prayers, seminars and impactful sessions from the morning of Wednesday through afternoon till evening and all night which leads to Thursday when participants will be treated to a powerful Musical Night for Singers, Bands and Choirs alongside Bible Quiz,with group seminars for the Youth, Women, and Men with intercessory prayers.
Speaking in a special press conference to intimate the members of the public about the historic event, the Host, Convener and the Founder of The New Seraph, Her Grace, the Iya Aladura General, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye disclosed that nothing less than 300,000 worshippers would be expected at the New Seraph Prayer City at Sapade, Ogun State, and participants would be expected from all parts of world.
Expected to minister to the spiritual needs of the participants are Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe aka Genesis, Prophet Babatunde Samuel aka Sotitobire from Akure, Ondo State and other ministers from within and outside the C&S Church.
Joining the hosts of word ministers are top gospel music ministers like Laolu Gbenjo, Apostle Debo Ojugbuyi, King Segun Ajidara, Ewa Kristi, and Evang. Segun Omo Alaafin who would be joining the melodious and inspiring New Seraph Mass Choir of the ministry.
According to Iya Aladura General, all hands were already on deck to host a spectacular NODE which has God of Perfection as its theme.
“For months now, in preparation for the Night of Divine Experience NODE 7, The New Seraph Team has been going to the nooks and crannies of the nation to host Pre-NODE revival, vigil and rally, simply to take the good news of salvation to the rural and urban areas pan Nigeria,” disclosed Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye.
She went further to assure participants that the whole exercise would be hitch free.
“As it is our norm and a way of ensuring that many people across board partake in God’s goodness through this year’s Night of Divine Experience, we have made provision for over 300 BRT buses across Lagos State and thousands of buses for inter state transit,” and they will be released free of charge. The buses would convey participants to and from the venue on the last night.
To participate is not limited to those who are within reach in Nigeria, as provisions are made for those who are far away in this age of the internet.
She promised, “As massive as the gathering will be, let me inform you that due provision has been made for believers across the globe to also connect and stream the programme live via different Social Media outlets like The New Seraph Facebook page, YouTube Channel, and other Seraph Platforms.
State of the Nation
Speaking on the State of the Nation, the woman of God called on Nigerians across board to “start getting things right”, saying, “In a time like this, when our nation Nigeria is going through a lot of uncertainties, I will urge us all to let’s join hands together in raising God’s call for everyone of us to start getting things right, let’s begin to live aright, and move closer to God. It is a sincere call to oneness, love, unity and action.”
The Iya Aladura General who was not unconscious of the harrowing state of living in Nigeria added, “As much as we all know, we are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, the cries of protesters echo through our streets, the weight of economic hardship presses upon us, and the fabric of our society seems to be fraying,” as she expressed the belief that there is hope.
“Yet, even in the midst of turmoil, we find hope,” she emphasised.
“To our leaders, I humbly appeal to you to address the pressing issues that have led to this moment as such as we highlighted last year. Reduce the cost of living and address inflation, provide affordable fuel and electricity, create jobs and opportunities for the youth, ensure accountability and transparency in governance, protect the rights and freedom of all citizens. As an Evangelical Ministry, we demand righteousness.
For seven years Night of Divine Experience has become a centre of praise and worship, prayers and sharing of the word of God, to win souls to the kingdom of God, attracting different categories of people including traditional rulers, ministers of God, high ranking top civil servants and politicians from all parts of the world.
This year and on the occasion of the celebration of 100 years of Cherubim and Seraphim, many of these categories of people and even more would be expected at the auspicious event.
Present at the press parley were senior members of the ministry like Rev. Mother Oluwarinu, Rev. Mother Adegbenro, Primate Adebukola Ademola, Apostle Oluwayemisi Iyun, The National Chairman of The New Seraph, Deputy Baba Aladura Friday Nwosu, Baba Aladura Isaac Adegbenro JP, and Baba Aladura Ambassador Dr. Babatunde Odeyemi, among others.
The Iya Aladura General also took the opportunity to call on Christians and ministers of God not to relent in living up to the tenets of their faith.She said, “The Church will not be silent. Our faith demands action. As we pray for our leaders, we will demand accountability. We will be God’s prophetic voice, speaking against injustice and corruption. We will be the moral compass for society, teaching our people to choose wisely. We will fulfil our civic duty by voting and holding leaders responsible,” calling the Church to be “an example of good governance.
“As Christians, we are called to be peace makers, to seek justice, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Let us embody these values in our words and actions,” admonished Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye.
The three-day events will be used to pray for all manners of needs and requests from personal to corporate, national and international matters.
