Reactions As Bishop Oyedepo’s son, Isaac Resigns From Living Faith, to start his New Ministry

There have been swift reactions from diverse opinions as Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, second son of Bishop David Oyedepo made public his intention to leave his father’s Living Faith Church Worldwide to begin his ministry.

Isaac was formerly a pastor of Living Faith Church in the United States before he was asked to return to Nigeria by Oyedepo, as a minister in the Nigerian church.

Isaac who is said to be radical resigned his appointment with his father’s church, with the intention to begin his own ministry.

He was recently appointed as Global Youth Pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel.

Reactions gathered online by PTL News revealed that the action of the young Oyedepo has been greeted with mixed feelings. While some believed Pastor Isaac has taken a right step, some others saw it as business as usual, and it was nothing to worry about.

@HEO27 said: “I’m not in anyway surprised, I had always known that this man Pastor Isaac, won’t wait for any “handover” from the Bishop, thinking that may not happen anytime soon. Anyway, nothing is wrong in wanting to be a founder. Hope he receives God’s backing, if that of his father no dey.”

@velaintegrated said: “We at Living Faith Church are not surprised. It’s been clear what his calling and ministry is, so we saw it coming. May the assignment committed to his hands find expression to glorify the name of the Lord. We’ll miss you MOG.”

The young pastor reportedly said: “My God-given mandate is to reclaim a generation and to ensure that this generation sees the fire of God-revival in our generation.”

“The Church is as lucrative as oil and gas industry, obviously he has issues with his father, the church is a company ,the CEO of Living Faith is still alive so he controls everything that goes in and out of the company “church.“ I guess this is an internal battle of supremacy. Church is a business in Africa, Especially Naija, do not get carried away folks, wrote @Chima, Isidore Chima.

“Did Bishop Oyedepo have any quarrel with his son before he left? It was mutual understanding so what are you guys saying,” revealed @adoptedson.
