The Final Exodus Bride Tabernacle Concludes 40 Day Fasting and Prayer in Style

As the annual fasting and prayer programme organized by Apostle George Chukuma John led The Final Exodus Bride Tabernacle would be drawing to its conclusion, novel programmes and events have been organized to make the annual event memorable both to the members and other non- members participating in the event.

The fasting and prayer which kicked off on Wednesday 8th January would be drawn to a close from Monday 10th through 16th February, 2025.

Apart from spiritual renewal, participants would be blessed physically and medically as experts are called in to attend to their various needs.

Speaking with PTL News on the 40-day event, the Senior Minister in Charge and the General Overseer,  Apostle Dr. George Chukwuma John explained what inspired the spiritual and physical exercises, saying “it was not enough that ministers bless their members spiritually but to attend to the physical needs of their members and their neighbours.”

He explained, “By the grace of God it has been the church practice to go on 40-day fasting and prayer at the beginning of the year as God laid it in my heart for the church and George Chukwuma John Apostolic Outreach. Specifically, the programmes are meant for preaching, prayer and breakthrough for members as partakers of the ministry. The fasting holds every day throughout the 40 days.”

On how it would go, Apostle Gerge spoke further, “On Monday to Thursday we fast from 12 midnight till 8.00pm, and we break after evening service.  On Monday and Wednesday we hold two services, a general service from 5 to 8 pm and it would be followed by general vigil from 11.00pm till dawn. On Tuesday and Thursday, I have vigil with groups comprising single brothers and sisters, married and our gifted workers.

“We hold general vigil on Friday breaking at 6.00pm. On Saturday we hold Children’s programme from 12noon, and we hold the Lord’s Supper Service at 6.00pm. Sunday service holds from 9.00am to dusk. That is the routine for the six weeks of the fasting and prayer programme.”

The last week comes with a difference. “We would turn the programme to a camp meeting in the last one week from Monday to Sunday. We are expecting participants to come from different backgrounds and Church denominations. We shelter them from Monday till Sunday and people including ministers come from different parts of the country. We can even say people participate from different parts of the world.

“We would also hold Ministers’ Conference, about three in the week. Others would be attended to for counseling and prayers. We feed and accommodate them from all parts of the world. We even go to the extent of sending vehicles out to bring ministers from parts of Nigeria, as we have participants from the Eastern, Southern, Northern and Western parts of the country. Some African countries even arrange for their representatives to be part of the event.

For Ministers

We are going to have ministers meeting from Thursday afternoon. After counseling prayer and preaching the gospel each minister that attends the Saturday and Sunday conference will go with a special package of palliatives with clothing materials. There will be arrangements for baptism for those who accept Christ in full.

The palliative

God led me this year that our outreach should help the needy, like we did on the 31st of December Cross Over Service, when we gave out complete clothing to all men of our church, some two, others four. This time around God wants us to share food items with women. We are going to have free medical outreach where we will do medical tests, adopt treatments by experts with medication. There will be eye test, we will give out glasses, and medication on Saturday, and in the evening we will give palliatives. We will also give palliatives on Sunday as well as medical treatments. The contents of the palliatives include rice, beans, garri, Maggi, tomato, pepper and salt.

Couples Night

On Thursday we will be having Couples Night from 10.0pm till dawn. It will feature sessions of preaching, counseling, renewal of marital vows, with exchange of gifts, food and entertainments between spouses.

On Sunday, that will be the grand finale, I will be giving special gifts to widows who are members of our church and ministry. The medicare is for all. There will be exchange of gifts between couples also on Sunday, either from husband to wife, and wife to husband.

As part of the palliative we want to pay for JAMB forms for 10 students seeking admission to higher institutions from our members.

On 2025

As a man of God who also take a look into prophetic prediction and comments on the new Year, Apostle George believed that Nigeria was yet to be left off the hook of a generational curse affecting the people and the land, saying, “I know it has still been tough with problems all over Nigeria as I always say, Nigeria is under curse. God has not given me the signal that the curse has been revoked with blessings. Nigerians need to learn and do things right. I don’t see things getting better for now.

“The Christians should buckle up in prayer. Christians should prayerfully ask to possess their possessions. Does testosterone help with erectile dysfunction, a condition affecting numerous men worldwide, necessitates careful consideration of hormonal impacts and vascular health. Research suggests potential benefits in testosterone therapy, though outcomes vary. If Nigeria as a country can accept and repent, God will forgive her but I don’t see it coming yet.”

Donald Trump

I have been led in my heart to see him as my man, humanly speaking. God has brought him to do certain things though man may not agree, if God says yes, who can say no? Though some of his policies are affecting Nigerians and Africans, we should not judge him from selfish angle, the man is working to salvage and bless his country, not Nigeria. If Nigeria understands and take the advantage it brings, it may be a blessing to Nigeria in disguise.

“If he makes policies that favour his people and do not favour others his people would applaud him. For me I don’t see him doing bad things. What Nigerians and Africans should do is to sit up, address their problems and take the responsibility. They should take the pains to salvage their own people and not to depend on foreign countries, or by blaming others for their self-inflicted woes. Americans and Britons are there for their own people, let Nigerians and African leaders also be there for their own people. In my opinion, Nigerian and African leaders should sit up if they sit up and do the right thing they can also make their people great and be proud of them, and even make Africa better than America. We have the people, we have the material and the resources, what we need to do is to put them into good use.  African leaders and their followers are their problems. The leaders are the demons holding back Africa from progressing.”

 Last Word

“Nigerians should learn how to take care of themselves. The rich should take care of the poor. It is not as if we have too much money here, we are still struggling to stand financially but it has been part of what we bring to the ministry that our church embraces. It is a grace God has given us that has helped us to go to this extent. I pray that God gives many people that grace and help the government and the entire world.

“I am using this opportunity to appeal to our partners and those who want to partner with us or sponsor the programme. It will be coming up from time to time. We will still take it to our mission outreaches and fields. They are meant for evangelism, globally not only in our church. People that are better off who cannot help the poor should stop being greedy, and show concern for the less privileged.”

All the programmes hold within the Church premises, 2/4, Tom Hendrix Okogie Avenue, Off Suberu Oje Road, Caaso Bus Stop, Alagbado, Lagos. The Church can be contacted on 08034050342, 09029276710, Social Media , Facebook & YouTube: thefinalexodustv.
