With the presence of Vicinity 95.3FM, Ikeji Ile, Ijesa and its environs are up for an exciting moment this Christmas as they stage the first of its type Christmas Party.
The party which commences on Tuesday December 3, will last till December 24, 2024.
According to organizers the party will feature varieties of activities like Father Christmas Shows which would be there to present the participants will befitting gifts.
Efforts are already being made to create awareness in the neighbouring communities.
Ikeji Ile is surrounded by Ipetu Ijesa, Ikeji Arakeji, Owena, Erin Ijesa, Ogotun and Ilawe Ekiti and Ilesa.
We want our people young and old to come around to enjoy the presence of Father Christmas and enjoy the funs of Christmas. These include Churches, Schools and independent groups and organizations. The party holds between 10.00am and 4.00pm each day.
Meanwhile, Ikeji Ile and its environs are already agog with the festive effect of the Father Christmas Show. The Vicinity FM Football team began the enlightenment on Sunday with novelty match between Vicinity FM and Achievers’ Football Club of Ikeji Ile.
In the same breadth, public awareness and road shows have been taken to the neighbouring communities of Ikeji Arakeji, Ipetu Ijesa, Ogotun Ekiti, Ilawe Ekiti, Owena, Erin Ijesa and others to alert parents, guardians and school proprietors to get ready for the first of its type event.
It will be formally declared open on Tuesday 3rd December, 2024 at 10.00am with special guests and distinguished personalities.
Speaking on what to expect for the Father Christmas Children’s Show, the General Manager of Vicinity 95.3 FM, Adesola Salami explained that the programme is extended to Children individually and in groups, adding that well-meaning individuals, Churches, Schools and Organisations can come in groups to bring their Children and wards, as many gift items have been made available for the participants.
There will be opportunities for the children to enter Vicinity FM Studios, take photographs and extend greeting requests to their parents, teachers and friends. The tickets are already out for sale at the premises of the Radio Station and with their designated sales representatives.
