If you like, call them Prophet Segun Arole Boys. Segun Arole is a wonderful prophet with bountiful loads of gift in composing and rendering sonorous songs for praising God. They are Young Ifejubeelo and Adebari Odumosu, 13 and 9 years of age, and they were both JSS 3 and 1 pupils, respectively before the lockdown.
It has pleased the Lord to unearth their gifts during the Covid -19 lockdown. After the lockdown, they have received divine gifts, they are sure and are determined to take it to where providence has made way for them.
PTL News recently met them at Ayo Alaafin’s AGM Audiovisual Studios, while they were preparing to showcase their newfound love.
According to them they were already members of C&S Church, Eritedo, Aboru in Agbado Oke Odo LCDA led by their father, Prophet Segun Arole and the gift surfaced about a year ago but the lockdown provided them the opportunity to practise and sing together.
Since they launched out the gift, they have been singing together, in duet and leading their Church Choir, and occasionally on live performances that are relayed on Social Media, and they have a number of tunes to their credit.
Apart from singing, they also display their gifts on instruments. While Ife tries his hands on piano, Adebari beats drum and they both dance.
Asked about their inspiration and mentors in gospel music, they did not look very far as they pointed at their father Prophet Segun Arole as their role model, coach and mentor, and others like Ayo Alaafin Orun, Queen Gloria, Lekan Remilekun-Amos, Dare Melody and some others.
On what seemed to be their immediate agenda, it is not about money or need for fame, all they wish is how they can best use their gifts in appreciating God.
“We have done some live videos on Facebook, we want more opportunities to show our talent and use it, we just feel like praising God with our gifts and we will like to record our own album later.
One thing about their composition is the inspiration and the message it carries. One of them is Omo Ologo and another is Oloruko Nla.
