*During His Ministry here on earth, an inquisitive Lawyer had an encounter with Jesus.
— In response, Jesus said to him (by extension, to all of us): “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart … You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
— Matt 22:37-39 (Deut 6:5; Leviticus 19:18).
* Note: your neighbor includes your school mates, coworkers, community members, etc).
* Do you love your neighbor as yourself?
* When you see your neighbor hungry, do you give him/her food?
* When you see your neighbor thirsty, do you give him/her drink?
•When you see your neighbor sick, do you take care of him/her?
* You’re blessed with spiritual gifts (e.g. gift of healing, working of miracles, interpretation of tongues/dreams, etc)
— 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.
∆ Your neighbor comes to you for spiritual help, and you exploited him (you took advantage of him for monetary gains).
*Where is the Love that Jesus commanded? (Matthew 22:39).
* Out of jealousy, you are lusting after your neighbor’s wife.
*Where is the Love …?
* Your neighbor’s Business Enterprise is flourishing, and you are planning to pull him down.
*Where is the Love …?
* Through his gift of innovation, a man developed an Engine that could fly an Helicopter.
— Instead of congratulating him, you joined the group who condemned the man’s Project, saying: “The Engine cannot fly an Helicopter.”
*Where is the Love…?
* You rejoice at the misfortune of someone you know very well.
*Where is the Love …?
∆ Note: Whatever you want people to do to you, do also to them (Matthew 7:12).
•Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7-9).
*I pray that God will give us the enablement to obey His commands, INJ.
